e-Commerce Marketing Senior Officer (Campaigns)


The e-Commerce Marketing Senior Officer is responsible for developing and leading the execution of e-Commerce campaigns across all of flydubai’s markets. This position is responsible for owning the e-Commerce marketing calendar, managing the creative asset process, and taking the lead in collaborating with country managers, advertising and communication teams to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Key Activities 

1. Identify, develop and implement e-Commerce marketing campaigns that drive sales online 

2. Advise and consult with Country Managers and Revenue Management on how to effectively use digital marketing channels to accomplish business objectives through the use of analytic, research, metric-based insights, and industry best practices 

3. Unify recommendations and implementation plans into a cohesive brief that internal and/or external creative resources can execute against 

4. Manage communication with all stakeholders during the development and execution of marketing campaigns 

5. Work in partnership with Advertising, Brand and PR, and other functions to deploy highly effective e-Commerce campaigns 

6. Ensure all campaigns are localized to the relevant audience, delivered on time, in budget and support revenue and business goals. 

7. Plan and execute methodical tests to measure the incremental value of our efforts, as well as on going optimisation efforts to meet campaign efficiency/ROI targets. 

8. Proactively forecast and report successes, inconsistencies, and underperformance of e-Commerce campaigns, and leverage the data collected to ensure future campaigns are changed 

9. Develop and apply knowledge of flydubai’s market and competitive environment to ensure flydubai maintains and grows market share in it’s key and developing markets 

10. Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop campaign themes and concepts on overall frameworks that provides a tool kit of elements including digital, email and social media 

11. Provide feedback and data analytics to support and enhance market strategy and direction 

12. Evaluate and recommend new digital marketing opportunities and technologies 

13. Manage operational bottlenecks and provide escalation management when required 


Qualifications:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS 

Minimum Qualification 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (MBA a plus) 

Experience 

• 5+ years experience executing marketing initiatives in the digital space (preferably in the airline industry). This should include, display, email, app, mobile, push notifications/SMS, social media, websites and microsites. 

• 2+ years experience in marketing for an e-Commerce brand preferably in the MENA region 

• Advanced understanding of web analytics tools, CRM, CMS, and Facebook PMDs 

• A proven track record of managing multiple successful campaigns across regions and languages with a high ROI 

• Experience developing robust A/B and MVT testing programs to optimize marketing campaigns, and analytical reporting 

• Experience managing internal and external teams, partners and agencies throughout the development and production of digital marketing campaigns 

Knowledge / Skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English 

• Ability to communicate in Arabic/Russian is highly desirable 

• Ability to interact and present your ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives 

• Flexible, creative, and a self-starter who will roll up their sleeves and get the job done in a fast-paced environment 

• Able to manage a huge variety of campaigns and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

• Strong consumer understanding skills across all cultures and an ability to translate customer insights into successful marketing programs 

• A high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers 

• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement 

• Strong interpersonal skills and an outstanding team player 

Certificate / License required 

• Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) Preferred
